WEBINAR: Using Data to Strengthen Your Camp

Please note: All events are on Eastern Standard Time.

Presented by Amy Sales, Associate Director, Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies, Brandeis University

Audience: Overnight Camp Professionals

Data tell an important and useful story but only if we learn how to find, read, and interpret it. The more ways we look at the data, the richer the story. Using summer 2013 as our dataset, we will look at overnight camp data from three perspectives: JCC camps patterns in comparison with the rest of the field, longitudinal reports tracking your own camp’s trends over time, and comparison reports with reports from peer camps. With each view, we will look at the story and implications for your camp. Together we will consider how to share data with your camp leadership and use it to inform the strategic direction of the camp.
