Description: FST Biometrics, a new JCC Association Preferred Vendor, has their security solutions installed at Jewish Day Schools in the United States.

Hear from Adam Cohen, Head of a Security at Bais Yaakov, Los Angeles, about how he has is using FST’s Biometric solution, IMID, to improve security. Adam will explain the initial deployment, the day-to-day experience of IMID users and how IMID helps Bais Yaakov run more efficiently. Adam will also give his thoughts on how JCCs can benefit from IMID.

Description: This year’s regional seminars will focus on staff training, including approaches and activities to use with your staff to help them bring a Jewish lens to their work and to your program participants. The regional seminars are for both first-time and experienced TAG users.

There is an up-to-$300 reimbursement available for travel and hotel per JCC/camp for the regional seminars.

Gathering of Arts and Culture Professionals

Please join us for the Third Annual Gathering of Arts and Culture Professionals at the JCC Association which will take place following the closing of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference in New York City, on Tuesday January 13th, 2014. This gathering is offered to you for no additional cost.Last year over 50 Arts and Culture Professionals gathered in our office for a day of focused resource sharing, with larger sessions and smaller break-out sessions, as well as plenty of time for networking & schmoozing. This year, we will gather together again to discuss topics that are important to you and your JCC and to hear about what’s happening in Arts & Culture at JCCs across the continent.This is both an opportunity for arts and culture/programming colleagues who are in NYC for Association of Performing Arts Presenters, and for those who might travel in for the day. I hope you will join us on January 13th for lunch and an afternoon of networking.

Looking forward to seeing many of you again, and to welcoming some of you for the first time.
