Description: Exceptional JCC member retention requires an action plan and a cohesive effort between the fitness and membership teams that begins the moment a new member joins. This JCC best practice of “onboarding” is reinforced by the strong evidence supported by the JCC Benchmarking report. This session identifies and walks through the processes, teamwork, and consistencies required to successfully “onboard” and retain every new JCC member.
Description: This interactive webinar will give membership, communications, and marketing professionals the opportunity to explore ways in which they can recruit LGBT individuals and families to join their community. Using our shared Jewish values as a framework, we will discussion the importance of LGBT inclusion and speak to the specific needs and concerns of members of the LGBT community . We will also reflect on the ways in which JCC’s may, despite their best intentions, have practices that are barriers to their inclusion. Participants will leave the webinar with concrete tools and ideas for not only proactively recruiting LGBT individuals and families, but also ensuring that their communities are inclusive and accepting once those LGBT individuals join the community.
