Different Ways to Do Camp

With the weather warming and the days getting longer camp can only be around the corner. It’s time to start thinking about Ultimate Frisbee, color wars, ceramics and swimming in the lake.

But not all campers were made for just one type of camp. And this year we have two new JCC camps – Camp Inc. and JCC Maccabi Sports Camp – offering diverse summer experiences for those looking for something a little different.

Budding entrepreneurs can test their business savvy at Camp, Inc., for teens in grades 7-12. Recently featured on Fox News’ Coolest Camps, Camp Inc. allows kids to create hands-on projects, learn business skills and create Jewish community, all while enjoying the Colorado wilderness setting.

And now, a teen submitting a great idea for a new product is eligible to win a free session at Camp Inc. For more information about the contest and the camp contact email info@CampInc.com or call 303-998-1900 ext. 117.

JCC Maccabi Sports Camp builds on the excitement of the JCC Maccabi Games, and allows campers in grades 4-10 to hone their athletic skills while immersed in an environment stressing Jewish values. The program stresses building character, welcoming the Jewish people and friends, living a healthy lifestyle, and appreciation for rest and relaxation as embodied in Shabbat.

The camp is the only Jewish overnight sports camp on the West Coast. For more information visit the website.
