JCC Association offers third Birthright trip for young professionals

December 2016 (exact dates TBD)

The JCC Young Professionals Trip is an opportunity to participate in a Taglit-Birthright trip aimed at JCC and Jewish communal professionals who want to experience Israel in a fundamentally different way. Explore Israel as a young Jewish professional: network, learn, experience and enrich your Jewish identity as well as your connection to Israel. Meet with Israeli community professionals, collaborate with colleagues from North American based organizations; opportunities for professional development and growth.

“It is hard for me to believe how much more invested I have become in Israel and its wellbeing; such concern for the place has never been mine like this before.” Evan, Friedberg JCC

In addition to some of the special sites you will be visiting in Israel, you will get the chance to visit a matnas (Israeli community center) and other community agencies. Last year’s JCC Young Professionals Birthright trip created important personal and professional networking groups who have stayed in contact since.

Birthright has extended the age limit for this trip. Participants are eligible from ages 22-29. In addition, anyone who participated in a peer trip to Israel before the age of 18 is now eligible for a second chance to see Israel through a different lens.
