JCC Maccabi Games and The Coca-Cola Company®
While the JCC Maccabi Games can be called the Olympics for
Jewish teens, they serve a much larger purpose than athletic
competition. They are a preeminent community-building enterprise,
and one of JCC Association’s most valuable and well-known
programs.
JCC Association is proud that The Coca-Cola Company® has
renewed and expanded its continental corporate sponsorship
relationship with JCC Association through 2007. The JCC Maccabi
Games receive sponsorship funds plus Coca-Cola products for
use at the Games.
Through the generous corporate sponsorship of The Coca-Cola
Company ®, JCC Association is also able to offer JCC Movement
camps the opportunity to participate in the JCC Association/Coca-Cola
Company Day of Caring/Day of Sharing program. Both day and
resident JCC camps plan and execute community service projects
on and off site, and enable thousands of children and teens
to benefit from helping others in their communities.
JCC Association is developing a Jewish values curriculum to
enhance the Day of Caring/Day of Sharing program, and the
Coca-Cola Company has said that it is "proud to support
the development of the next generation of community leaders."
