The Saga Ends: Brett, You Were Great

JCC Maccabi ArtsFest alum Brett Loewenstern came to the end of his American Idol journey when he was cut from the final 24 singers–12 men, 12 women–who will compete for votes to become the next American Idol. It’s been an amazing journey for the 16 year old from Boca Raton, who first took part in JCC Maccabi ArtsFest when he was 13. Even then, he clearly had a voice that commanded attention. Check our JCC Maccabi ArtsFest Facebook page to see video clips of Brett’s initial AI audition in New Orleans and him singing at that first ArtsFest.

I’m so proud of Brett. That’s exciting.
Robbie Rosen who also was top 24 lives in Merrick, NY. I perform with a big band at the Atria Assisted Living facility in Lynbrook, L.I where Robbies Grandma resides
Pia from Howard Beach is one of the 13 finalists. I know some people who know her.
This is going to be a great season.
I think the judges are a great combination. Sensitivity, theatrical, rocker, and the Dog!! They are making great decisions and so are the audience.
    Brett did a great job!!!
