100 Days of Fitness

Last year, 1,211 participants in our newest signature program, 100 Days of Fitness cycled more than a quarter of the distance to the moon, walked all the way around the earth and then halfway around again, and ran the equivalent of 608 marathons.

And we’re looking to top those distances between Memorial Day and Labor Day, when100 Days of Fitness gets underway. The newest of our signature programs, 100 Days of Fitness challenges the hearts, minds, legs, lungs, and spirit of JCC participants in an all-out continental competition for bragging rights and awards. Create a local challenge and take part in the JCC Movement-wide one to generate team spirit and ruach in your fitness center.

Through JCC Association’s 100 Days of Summer Fitness Challenge, JCCs will have the opportunity to run local fitness challenges. In addition, JCC Association will run a continent-wide challenge that will enable JCCs to connect with each other by participating in this shared, competitive event.

Below are the rules for the 2018 100 Days of Summer Fitness Challenge

Participating JCCs will run local challenges while JCC Association of North America will run a
continental-wide challenge.

Individuals will log miles/yards/classes attended through our online form:*

  • Running
  • Walking
  • Swimming
  • Cycling
  • Cardio Equipment (ellipticals, rowers, UBEs, steppers, etc.)
  • Group Fitness (any type of class)
  • Personal Training

*NOTE: Each workout needs to be recorded within 7 days. Data will not be accepted after 7 days.

Members sign up at your local JCC with this information:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Type of exercise

Competitors will submit the following information for each entry:

  • Name
  • Email
  • JCC
  • Date Exercised
  • Type of Exercise
  • Amount Exercised
