Elevating Your Practice: A Workshop for All Supervisors
JCC Association is running a one day workshop open to supervisors at all levels and experience. Join trainer Casey Conrad and JCC Association senior staff to learn practical ways to increase employee engagement through enhanced leadership skills. This program will cover two essential topics necessary for any supervisor and will include time for networking and a tour of the JCC. The program will begin at 9:30 and end at 4:00 and will include lunch and snacks

Cost: $49 per person (includes workshop materials, lunch and snacks)

Morning Session:
Communication: The Foundation for Strong Team Management
Communication styles—and more specifically their differences—are what affect the rapport process, either creating a positive or a negative interaction at the unconscious level. In this session participants will learn the elements of the communication process, how to build rapport, how to speak the language of different communication styles and how to use new skills with difficult people.
Lunch, Networking Time and Tour of the JCC
Afternoon Session: during this time the group will break into two – New Supervisor (less than 3 years in a supervisory position) and Advanced Supervisors (4 years or more supervising staff)
Leading Your Department to Excellence
There are special skills needed in being a leader of a successful department. During this time participants will explore ways to motivate and lead staff, how to organize and focus your department, how to manage your department effectively, and how to share your vision so that you and your staff will succeed.
