Welcome, Rabbi Heather Borshof, you’re in the Army now! Rabbi Harold Robinson, director of JWB Jewish Chaplains Council, commissioned Reform Rabbi Borshof as the first active-duty woman chaplain in the U.S. Army in a generation. First Lieutenant Borshof is a graduate of Hebrew Union College and will be serving at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, when she completes her chaplaincy training. Originally from Manalapan, New Jersey, Rabbi Borshof spent time in Israel and worked in different fields before deciding to go to rabbinical school.
