New Date for TAG Training in Chicago Area

We are excited to announce that our Chicago TAG Training Seminar has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 10 (we had to move it from our original date in February due to weather).
TAG: Jewish Values through JCC Camping® is a curricular initiative designed to enrich the Jewish component of the JCC camping experience. TAG develops discrete Jewish content and programming units for day and resident camps, finding ways to integrate Jewish life, experience, and values into the fabric of camp. (TAG has also been effective in after-school and other youth programming.) Each initiative has drama, discussion, games, art, music, storytelling, and Jewish text study components.

Where: Mayer Kaplan JCC in Skokie

Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Fee: Free

Travel Reimbursement: There will be a reimbursement of up-to-$400 to support your camp/JCC’s participation in the seminar. This reimbursement is only for transportation and hotel, where necessary. Hotel information will be provided upon registration.

Description: See and interact with the new TAG materials for summer 2013 – including our unit on Kehillah/Community – so you can bring them back to your camp/JCC. Get trained in how to teach your staff to use TAG. Learn from and with Mandel Center for Jewish Education trainers and other JCC camp and youth professionals for this interactive day.
