Taking service to a new level
Former Seaboard USYer 2nd Lt. Ze’ev Lowenberg was commissioned as chaplain candidate in the U.S Air Force at United Synagogue Youth’s international convention in Baltimore last week. Taking camp on the road…to Israel
A group of JCC camp staff spent 10 days during December exploring Israel on the JCC Camp Staff Birthright Trip. The free trip puts the ruach, or spirit, of working at camp onto the Birthright tour bus, and allows camp staff to bring Israel back to their camp and campers by letting them see, hear, taste and experience the Jewish homeland for themselves.
