Karina Zilberman is the founder of Shababa at 92nd Street Y (92Y) in New York City, and a 2012 recipient of the Covenant Foundation Award for Excellence in Jewish Education. She has been educating through the creative arts since her earliest days as a singer in her native Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2007 Karina joined 92Y to create an innovative Jewish community of families with young children. Today she is widely known as the founder of 92Y Shababa™, and the creator of the Shababa methodology to intergenerational family Jewish experiences.
