Optional Walking Tour of Downtown Memphis hosted by Memphis JCC

(Meet at fountain outside of the Sheraton Hotel)

Join local historian Jimmy Ogle as he takes you on a walking tour of Memphis’s Pinch District, the oldest part of the city and the center of Memphis’ Jewish community from the 1890s to the 1930’s. Tour starts at 5:15 pm and will last about 45 minutes.

Visit the Blues Hall of Fame Museum between 5 and 7 pm. Opened in May of 2015, the Blues Hall of Fame Museum is a Memphis gem for both serious blues fans and casual visitors. With robust exhibits and in-depth history, the museum exposes, educates, and entertains visitors with all that is blues culture while highlighting over 400 inductees in five key categories: Performer, Individual, Album, Single, and Literature.
