First-hand knowledge makes for first-rate advice.
Our community consultants provide just that—expert knowledge born of experience in running a JCC. Our community consultants have served as JCC executives, and have firsthand experience in what it’s like to run one. They have the expertise that will help you celebrate successes and get the greatest return on them, and will also be able to guide you when you face challenges, whether it is an immediate crisis that needs attention, or other issues that come up within day-to-day operations. By developing assessment tools, creating trainings , identifying indicators of success or failure, and devising opportunities of sharing and learning among lay and professional leadership, our consultants can help map out a path for better JCC outcomes.
Each JCC has a designated consultant who will work one-on-one with it, and get to know the community, what it has in common with other JCCs and what makes it unique. Our consultants will spend time with you in the areas of board and executive leadership and business management, as well as connect you with other resources at JCC Association and in the field. Specialized consults in health and wellness, early childhood services, camping, arts and culture, as well as marketing and financial resource development are also available.
