Michael Feinstein
Michael Feinstein is the chief financial and administrative officer (CFAO) at JCC Association of North America. He previously was the organization’s interim chief financial officer and vice president, Strategic Initiatives. Before joining JCC Association, he was vice president of Capacity Partners, where he provided consulting services to nonprofit organizations on board development, strategic planning, and operations. Feinstein was chief executive officer of the Bender JCC of Greater Washington for 12 years, following three years as chief operating officer. Before his tenure as a JCC executive, Feinstein owned and managed businesses in the manufacturing, service, and technology industries and held a variety of volunteer leadership roles in Jewish communal and nonprofit organizations. Feinstein holds a certificate in nonprofit board consulting from BoardSource and a certificate in leadership coaching from Georgetown University. He received a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and a master’s degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and public/nonprofit management from Columbia University. Feinstein and his wife, Suzanne, live in Rockville, Maryland, and have four children between them.
