Sasha Kopp, MAJE, MAJNM
Sasha Kopp is the senior director, education and engagement for ElevatEd. She previously worked as a senior consultant for early childhood and family engagement for The Jewish Education Project. She also has worked directly in early childhood programs, most recently as the assistant early childhood director at Central Synagogue in Manhattan. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and education studies at Brandeis University and two master’s degrees, one in Jewish education and one in Jewish nonprofit management from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Kopp teaches workshops on topics relevant to early childhood Jewish education, including fostering social-emotional development, creativity, and engaging in the outdoors. She conneacts with early childhood educators across the country and supports the professionalization of the field. Sasha is a fused glass artist and runs mezuzah making workshops across the country.
