Sierra Weiss
Sierra Weiss is the access and inclusion specialist at JCC Association of North America. She most recently worked for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was previously a longtime employee of the Ruderman Family Foundation. She earned a master’s degree in bioethics from Emory University, where she also completed a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus in disability studies and bioethics. Her graduate research presented suggestions for implementing improved disability cultural competency curricula in medical education and across disciplinary fields. Weiss is committed to working with and advocating for people with disabilities and creating more inclusive and accessible spaces in the Jewish community and beyond.
