Name of Program: For the Yachad ROCKS (Ruach, Opportunity, Community, Kindness, Strength) Program
Yachad ROCKS (Ruach, Opportunity, Community, Kindness, Strength) was developed to be a values-based, 21st-century skill-building foundation for the structure of our day camp program. Already embedded in our traditional camp language for years – “Yachad Rocks!” has been the way we have called for quiet or attention – we took the phrase to a new, truly substantive level, in terms of creating a framework for staff training and recognition both before and throughout the summer.
