Across North America, JCCs and JCC Camps are where Jewish life is lived—every day and at every stage. As open, welcoming places, they bring individuals and families together to build connection, identity, and belonging through education, recreation, wellness, arts and culture, and shared experiences. In doing so, they strengthen Jewish identity, foster lasting relationships, and serve as a gateway into Jewish life, while also building bridges beyond the Jewish community and creating meaningful connections among diverse people and communities. For many, JCCs and JCC Camps are not merely places—they are where people know they belong.
The JCC Movement’s network is the largest and one of the most powerful platforms for Jewish engagement on the continent, reaching 1.5 million people each week, including one million Jews of all backgrounds and 500,000 friends and neighbors beyond the Jewish community. In nearly 150 JCCs and JCC Camps—that represent 68% of North America’s Jewish camp movement—35,000 professionals and more than 3,000 lay leaders power the largest Jewish workforce on the continent.
At the center of this work are three integrated Centers of Excellence designed to strengthen every JCC and JCC Camp and further the impact of the JCC Movement on Jewish life in communities throughout the U.S., Canada, and beyond.
