Lisa Kuh, Ph.D.
Lisa Kuh, Ph.D., is the program director at the Sheva Center at JCC Association of North America. She previously served early childhood communities as a classroom teacher, teacher educator, instructional coach, university professor, researcher, and professional developer. Kuh has held faculty positions at Tufts University, University of New Hampshire, and Lesley University. She was the director of early education for the city of Somerville, Massachusetts, where she expanded access to early education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Chestnut Hill College in her hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in human development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Washington. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
