Michael Feinstein

Michael Feinstein is Interim CFO and vice president of strategic initiatives at JCC Association of North America. He previously served as vice president of Capacity Partners, where he consulted to nonprofit organizations on board development, strategic planning, and operations. He served as the chief executive officer of the Bender JCC of Greater Washington for 12 years after serving as chief operating officer for three years.

Prior to becoming a JCC executive, Feinstein owned and managed businesses in the manufacturing, service, and technology industries and held in a variety of volunteer leadership roles in Jewish communal and nonprofit organizations.

Feinstein has a certificate of nonprofit board consulting from BoardSource and a certificate in leadership coaching from Georgetown University. He received a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and a master’s in business administration with concentrations in finance and public/nonprofit management from Columbia University. He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Rockville, Maryland, and have four children between them.
