Name of Program: For the Disability/Visibility Photography Project: I see a Difference in Perspective
This project is open to any young adult with a disability. Photographers Maayan Ziv and Steve Kean bring together 15 participants to share their stories and make art exploring disability, identity and community. We explore Neil Marcus’ notion that “disability is an art. It’s an ingenious way to live,” culminating in a gallery show at the JCC and at Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography. The participants give community and school tours of the show.
