JCC Movement Shows Powerful Demonstration at March for Israel

NEW YORK — On Tuesday, November 14, JCC Association of North America joined hundreds of Jewish organizations and institutions from across the country in the historic March for Israel on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. In partnership with Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, and together with JCCs from coast to coast, JCC Association marched in solidarity with Israel and in condemnation of the rise of antisemitism. 

JCC delegations, alone and in partnership with other community organizations, turned out in force and came from every corner of the continent. Together, our presence was a powerful demonstration of unity and solidarity with colleagues, friends, and loved ones in Israel as well as with Jews across North America and around the world.  

“The November 14 March for Israel was the largest pro-Israel rally in U.S. history, and I was there. I was there to march for Israel. To demand release of the hostages. And to fight antisemitism,” shares JCC Association Executive Vice President Jennifer Mamlet. “Standing up and standing together with JCC professional and lay leaders, staff, and members from across North America highlights the strength of our movement’s unity in support and advocacy for Israel and Israelis. It was a day of Jewish pride. Jewish peoplehood. Jewish solidarity.”  

The March for Israel was a powerful demonstration of the belief that our strength comes from our unity—now and always.
